PARK

On Mondays while Kyla is at OT and Maelie is at piano the boys and I go to the park (or the dollar store, or Fresh n Easy, or Sonic) Here's some pix of one of those park days. On Thursday Kyla was supposed to have her first running meet. Well, it was cancelled because of the "rain" but we decided to go to Tumbleweed park anyway. It's been a while since we've been there and it's such a fun park. The weather was perfect. Maelie and Kyla were there too, but all my pix are mostly of Canyon because I was following him around. :) There is also a pic of cute Canyon taking a nap at Target.

Kyla's Party

Yesterday was Kyla's birthday party. We were planning on a bounce house but it rained all day yesterday! So we planned a bunch of games in the morning. I let Kyla choose what she wanted to do. We played pin the flower in the owl's feathers, piñata, partner balloon pop, bean animal toss, dress up and freeze dance, gift wrap relay, coloring, and had cake and opened presents. The piñata went faster than any other time we have done it, split open on the 3rd child. They also broke the bat and we had to use a frying pan after that. Kyla had fun so that made it all worth it! Who came? Kailin and Anna (cousins), Chloe (neighbor), Maya (from last year's school class who she still play with every day at recess) Megan, Maya, Keri, Samara (from her school class)

January

2013 is already going fast! The kids are growing, we had a very cold couple days, I took the girls to see Disney on Ice, we got rid of our old couches and got some "new" ones and we are starting to finally decorate our house a little, I'm loving blue lately, can you tell?

 

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Almost every single night, the kids jump on their daddy, they love playing with him! They always ask to play crazy on the beanbag. We had fun launching the rocket car we got for Christmas. We went to see the temple lights one last time, we will miss the beautiful Christmas season. On New Year's Eve we had fun with fireworks and sparklers at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Kyla started sewing lessons with Grandma and Maelie made PJ pants. We went to McDonald's to use our gift cards and the kids had fun playing. On the last day of Winter break I took the kids to the mall. Canyon likes working out with Daddy.
