Canada was a blast and so beautiful!!! We drove to Utah on the 4th and stayed in a hotel in SLC and watched all the fireworks from the window. We were too tired to go out. Then we drove the rest of the way on Friday. We also stopped through Rexburg and drove through our old home, miss it!! Kyla got to see where she was born. When we got to Cardston the power was out from a storm. Fun times! The kids loved being there. They loved playing with their cousins. They loved the barrel train that Grandpa made. We went to Calaway Park in Calgary, Waterton, Red Rock, Wally's Beach, and a family reunion. Maelie had her birthday on Monday before we left. She is 9!! She enjoyed celebrating her birthday in Canada for the 2nd time. :) We drove home on Tuesday and Wednesday, such a long drive especially when you have to take an awful detour! Glad to be home, it was a great trip!! We will probably be heading back before too long since Leland is planning on proposing to his girlfriend this weekend.
