Back to School

Maelie started 5th grade and her teacher is Mrs. Hughes.  Kyla started 3rd grade and her teacher is Mrs. Powell.  Jaxon started 1st grade and his teacher is Ms. Parker.  Here's to a great year!

We went on our first family campout in a few years, it was great fun, wish we were still there!  It was much cooler outside and so beautiful and green.  It only rained at night while we were sleeping and we stayed dry and then it poured on our way home.  So glad we had gotten loaded up before that storm let loose!  We went up by Payson to Christopher Creek.  It was so nice to have a creek right behind our site.  We went to Tonto Natural bridge, so amazing!!  Then we went to the honey stand in Pine and tried to go to the lodge in Strawberry but it was closed.  Then we went on a crazy drive trying to find a lookout on the rim, found one finally.  Then later we went to Woods Canyon Lake and went fishing.  Jonas caught one fish.  Right across from there was a gorgeous lookout site, haha, so we didn't need to go on that crazy drive earlier but what an adventure!  After we packed up Saturday we went to Bear Lake, pass Woods Canyon.  We had to hike down into it, kinda cool.  Then there was tons of thunder so we got outta there and drove a very muddy rainy drive out.  It does feel good to be home and clean but we do miss it.  Next time we will go for longer!!  The kids had a great time!
