Goodbye Taco

Whelp!  We tried!  Taco was tearing up our yard and barking too much.  We got a letter from the HOA that our dog was too loud.  So... we put him on Craigslist and a couple came and got him the next day.  It was a little sad but honestly more of a relief.  The kids love to play outside now, haha.  

Canyon's birthday cake

Yesterday we celebrated Canyon's birthday at Grandma and Grandpa's house.  Hillary made him an Avenger cake and it was awesome.  He loved it.  So many fingerprints in the cake, ha!  He was so cute when we sang to him.  He started blowing the candles out during the last part of the song.  And then when he opened his presents he had such excited looks on his face, so cute and fun!

Primary Program

The primary program was fabulous!  I love hearing my children get up there and say their parts.  The music was beautiful and the spirit was so strong.  Canyon wasn't in it but next year will be his first year and Maelie's last year!

Trunk or Treat

I had all 4 kids student teacher conferences last week.  All the kids are doing great in school!

Phoenix Temple

We got to go to the open house of the new Phoenix temple.  Now there are 5 temples in Arizona and 3 of them are within an hour of my house.  We parked at a nearby water park and rode a bus to the temple.  The kids loved that.  Then we watched a short video and then walked through the temple.  I love the feeling when you walk inside a temple.  It's amazing!  It was a beautiful time with my family.  I feel so blessed.  We went to dinner afterwards at Matta's.  

Enchanted Island

On Friday of Fall Break we went to Enchanted Island.  The kids loved it, Maelie was a little old for most the rides but she was a good sport.  Canyon got stung by a bee and is such a tough kid, he just said "Oww, bug!"  And Jonas pulled the stinger out.  It was a surprise when Jason, Katrina, Zac, and Alissa showed up.  The cousins had fun riding the rides together.  And Jason and Jonas were wearing the same shirt.  haha.  It was a fun time!
