Cleaning and Swinging

Last Monday we had dinner and FHE at the Hatch's house, such an awesome family!  We had fun on their cool swing before dinner.  Yes, I (Mistie) did it, too!

Kyla is 9!!

Today is Kyla's 9th Birthday!!! She is one unique, awesome little firecracker of an individual! Oh how life would be sooo different without this one. She was our only baby born outside of AZ, in Rexburg, Idaho. She is such a good friend to Canyon, always so good at helping and even translating what he says! She loves loves loves animals... loves to learn about them, read about them, play with them (the fake ones, because she's actually slightly terrified of real ones) and then she makes books and PowerPoints about them. She is good at running, swimming, gymnastics. She's learning how to play guitar and is in the school chorus. She loves helping me make dinner and treats. She loves to draw! Oh, how I love this special girl of mine! 

We had a birthday party for Kyla the Saturday before her birthday.  She invited 6 cousins (Kailin, Karsyn, Anna, Emma, Ethan, Brielle) and 6 friends (AJ, Miranda, Christian, Sydney, Audrey, and Cameron).  She wanted a candy party and to make her own cake.  Good times!!

Sunday we celebrated at Grandma and Grandpa's.  She wanted to make her own cake again.  She was super excited to get her candy bar poster from Grandpa and her birthday dress from Grandma.  She is always excited about presents. ;)

On her birthday, Wednesday, she got walkie talkies and a crystal mining kit from us.  At night we went to Skateland and got frozen yogurt.

Coronado Beach - See ya next time!

Saturday after Sea World, we went to our favorite beach and enjoyed time there.  Then we had to drive home. :(
