The cute beehives heart attacked and sidewalk chalked our house for Maelie's birthday. We went out to lunch on her birthday and hung out as a fam, swimming and playing games. I took her shopping and she chose 2 cakes because she couldn't decide! On Saturday she had a birthday party with her friends. From Gilbert - Linnae, Trini, Cady, Lucy, Gabby, Rachel. From our new ward - Paige, Lexi, and Emma. And cousins - Kailin and Anna. It was a swim party, lots of food, cupcakes that Maelie frosted and presents! They watched a movie in the pool and it was fun throwing light sticks and ice in the pool. On Sunday she graduated to Primary. She even got a red carpet and the beehives came, gave her a crown and buzzed off to Young Women's, it was very cool. It was awesome to hear the YW president and Counselor to the Bishop talk about her. Bro. Shumway said no one could get him to dance at girls camp except for her with turtle power. Or something like that, haha! Then we had turtle brownies at grandma's house. Happy Birthday Maelie! We love you to pieces!
